Guilds Wars 2 release is getting set back to 2010-2011 because NCSoft doesn't want to promote 2 mayor games in the same year due to funding problems.

there was some interest about this aieoieuo online, never checked it out, you're keen in playing GW2? I guess more time means more polish

No offence, but both are asian farm mmo, could never undersand how can ppl play that for more than few days

GW2 isn't a farming MMO, I would actually refrain from defining it a pure MMO.

Indeed, Guild Wars isn't an MMO.

I would describe it as an instanced multiplayer roleplaying game. In my opinion it is the best game out there when it comes to organised group PvP.

At least I haven't found any other game where you have to come up with builds for 8 characters that then kind of "melt" together into one big group build with which you are either succesful or plain suck depending on the builds you came up with and the skill of your people.

Take a spike build for example. If you manage to do the spike with 5 people at the same time (meaning everyone pushes the button in say, a 0 to 1 second timeframe) you have a good spike. If you #&%" up and have people push their buttons with 1 second or more in between you just don't kill anyone.

Even talking about the game makes me slightly orgasmic . It's just that sexy to play in a Top 100 guild in that game.

As a matter of fact, how about we all go play it now instead of warhammer?

GW is awesome when it comes to PVP, it's pure, complex and utterly wonderful if played in a good grp.
ofc you cannot play it randomly as lythar said, when you need to assist you assist or it's gg (maybe I'm making it too simple), you get out of the plan or do a mistake? gg again, you fucked your team.

afaik it was korean/chinese dominated due to their heavy dedication and fab teamplay.
